《지금부터 시작》(2022)은 안민욱 작가가 스스로 “어리석은 짓”이라 칭한 ‘불특정 다수의 참여’에서 출발합니다. 작가는 울산시립미술관 주변을 거대한 캔버스로 삼아, 타인의 손을 빌려 일시적이지만 감각적인 드로잉을 완성해 나가는 것을 사람들의 참여를 통해 시도합니다. 참여자들은 작가가 제공한 설명서와 지도를 따라 미리 설치된 ‘꼭짓점’을 찾아 도시를 걷고, 길을 적시며, 보이지 않는 선을 연결해 나갑니다. 이 과정은 영상 기록을 남기는 방식으로 마무리되며, SNS를 통해 다른 이들과 공유됩니다. 다 함께 만든 어리석음, 그 안에 숨겨진 리듬과 공통의 감각을 추적하고 최종적으로는 가장 인상적인 기록을 남긴 참여자에게 ‘품격과 재능에 걸맞은 상품’이 수여되게 됩니다.
《지금부터 시작》은, 지금 이 순간의 발걸음이 하나의 사라질 선이 되고, 도시 위에 그려지는 일시적 드로잉을 위해 골방에 틀어박혀 꼭짓점을 만드는 작가의 어리석은 분투극과 함께 진행됩니다.

From Now to The Beginning (2022) begins with what artist An, Minwook calls a “foolish act”—a proposition anchored in the participation of an unspecified public. But this foolishness unfolds not as mere prank, but as a quiet mechanism: a performance that links bodies to space, and now to an elusive beginning.
The artist transforms the urban landscape around the Ulsan Art Museum into a vast temporary canvas. With borrowed hands and feet, he orchestrates an ephemeral yet sensorial drawing. Participants follow a map and a set of instructions, seeking out pre-marked “points” across the city, wetting the pavement as they move, connecting invisible lines between locations. Their journey concludes not with applause, but with documentation: a short video uploaded to social media—a public trace of a private wandering.
This project reveals the rhythm and shared sensibility hidden within a collectively enacted foolishness. In the end, the participant whose trace stands out is awarded a prize “befitting their elegance and talent”—a small but deliberate rupture of play embedded within the structure.
From Now to The Beginning is a line drawn in passing, a fleeting trace across the city—born not from grand gestures, but from the artist's quiet, almost absurd struggle in a solitary room, placing one point after another, hoping someone out there might follow.
